Well, Howdy folks.  How you all doing?  We just rolled in from a great trip down in Nashville.  All I really need to say about this trip is WOW!  What a great weekend!  And that should be it, but no, I can't stop there.  The gang went down to Nashville to give their tonsils a try at singing.  We had a chance to see some up and coming talent down there.  Everywhere you went the music was great.  There are some up and coming "bands" that we had the opportunity to hear.

One of the new bands is the Budzynski Bango Quartet, playing some of their greatest hits like, "It's Two in the Morning & It's Time for Tacos!".  There's also a few singles out there from Mike Budzynski like, "I Can't Talk It's Time To Go Home", "Dominos, Dominos, Who Needs Dominos" and everybody's favorite, "Let Me In Let Me In Please, Please Let Me In", which is a song about a guy trying to get back into a bar after a few too many.  Nancy and Lisa Budzynski also have a single out called, "I'm Leaving On a Jet Plane Can't Take My SnowGlobe With".  And a great new song to be released out this March by lead singer Brian Budzynski called, "There's No Rooms at the Inn (Maui)".

Another up and coming band is the Chuck Webber Barbershop Trio starring Chuck, Eric, and Rachael.  Their hit songs are "Just a Little Off the Top" and "You Need Your Wallet to Buy A Beer".  (Remember, you had to be there.)  (Oprah Winfrey's Father's Barbershop.)

We had the chance to see Snady and Dietz.  Very amusing.  A great show.  Kind of like Sonny and Cher.  One of their greatest hits is "There's No Time To Stop For A Pee."  And there's also a few good solos sung by Sandy: "One Store Two Stores Three Stores & More - I Have My Credit Card Let's Go Thru the Door" and "You're In Good Hands".

Another solo artist is Uncle Roy with some interesting hits, which I feel are all about life experiences.  Here are just a few: "Help! I've Fallen and I can't Reach My Beer!", "Getting Rolled on the Streets of New Orleans", ".34", and his big hit "I Fear No Beer".  Another hit is quite unusual where he doesn't say anything -- just kind of hums.

Then there's the other trio featuring Randy, Yan, and John.  Their hit is "Last Call Last Call Really It's Last Call?".  Yan and John had a hit before they hooked up with Randy called, "Heineken, Heineken. Where the Hell is My Heineken?"  There's also a video out there featuring Yan and John and some unknown girls stripping in an elevator.  They're supposedly writing a song about this called, "What Goes Up Must Come Down" (ask Yan and John).  Randy also has a new solo hit called "90 Percent".  It's a story about someone that finishes 90 percent of everything.  The original title was going to be "90 Proof".

And let's not forget the duo of Jim and Nancy who are new to the Nashville scene.  They are sponsored by Bud Light.  Just a little background on this duo -- Jim's past before music was in electric.  He loves his electric guitar and has a song out there called, "It's Safe To Put A Screwdriver In the Socket".  Really shocking!  Nancy was an Event Planner.

Well, that's the run down of some of the musical upcomers down in Nashville.  Oh yeah and we did go to the Blackhawks game, where they lost 5-2.   The setup was great.  We were in an all-inclusive area with all the food you can eat and all the beer you can drink.  For all interested in going next year, stay tuned.  We also went to the Jack Daniels Distillery.  That's about it.  I am Tom, the MC for this trip.  It's great writing the recap because I'm the Angel of the group, believe it or not!  You all come back now.
